Usher’s CD Delayed! Again!
Not good.
Usher’s latest CD was scheduled for release yesterday on Super Bowl Sunday, but it has now been pushed back to March 30!
Jive Records is refusing to release the new album until the singer signs with new management. His former manager AND mother Jonetta Patton are effing done professionally since late November 2009. Says a source:
“She walked away from the project because Usher had his girlfriend [and former Def Jam executive] Grace Miguel all in the mix. She [Jonetta] felt as though if she didn’t end things when she did, it would permanently afec their personal relationship.”
Sounds like Usher’s mama has territorial issues with the other women in his life! Remember how ugly it got with his ex-wife Tameka?!
Usher’s first single from his new album “Papers” hit the radio last September but it peaked at Number 31 on the Billboard Hot 100. Not his best.
Things could be looking up soon though because it’s rumored that he is going to sign with AEG Live CEO Randy Phillips — Usher was at Phillips’ table at Clive Davis‘ pre-Grammy party.
Regardless we still don’t buy that Usher is the next Michael Jackson!

Katherine Jackson on Conrad Murray: He’s a Monster
Not long after Dr. Conrady Murray was charged with involuntary manslaughter today, those close to Michaej Jackson – whose death the physician is suspected to have been responsible for – reacted in outrage.
“He’s a monster,” said MJ’s mother, Katherine (pictured), after the arraignment.
Brian Oxman, the family’s veteran lawyer for Jackson’s father Joseph, was equally disgusted with the judge’s decision.
“This charge is a slap on the wrist,” he said. “There’s great disappointment here. [Conrad Murray] should’ve been charged with a higher degree of responsibility. What he did was reckless. It was a disregard for human life.”
Michael’s sister Latoya also chimed in, putting everything in a disturbing context:
“Michael was murdered and although he died at the hands of Dr. Conrad Murray, I believe Dr. Murray was a part of a much larger plan. There are other individuals involved and I will not rest and I will continue to fight until all of the proper individuals are brought forth and justice is served.”

The impossible happened. Beyonce fell on her House of Dereon loving derriere again during performance. Thankfully The Queen Bee was okay.
I think that Beyonce really wanted to be at Super Bowl too! Houston, Beyonce’s home town were one of the most generous American cities when Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans in 2005. Houston relocated a lot of the hurricane victims to become Houston residents and citizens of Texas.
It would have been nice if Bee had been able to see the Saints win too along with Brad and Angie.
